mcafee 8 5 enterprize

I put McAfee 8.5 on my system running Vista 5365 Now side bar does not run, Cant connect to the net, Explore has errows and stops working then keeps restarting, Errow is scripting. Tryed to uninstall McAfee will not it crashs too. And if you go to Microsofts site it tells you that McAfee 8.5 will work. Went to McAfee site to get help they say they dont have support. Any help Tony

8.5 beta will not work apparantly with vista there is a specific version of virusscan 8.0i beta for vista on there site.

Just don't use the trend micro beta either, it did the same thing to me. BTW, are you on wireless or ethernet?

Uninstalling something in Vista isn't that easy!! I tried to install McAfee too but it got stopped 3/4 of the way thru the install and won't let me install it. It refuses to let me uninstall it too.It is the exact Same thing with Nero 7 Ultra Edition.
